SABIC operates several major petrochemical complexes and related infrastructure in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, focusing on converting hydrocarbon by-products into a wide range of chemicals, polymers, and fertilizers, including a significant CO2 capture plant at Jubail United and numerous gas crackers for producing olefins and other petrochemicals. SABIC's operations in Jubail are central to its global strategy and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, including efforts towards carbon capture and lower-carbon ammonia production and a major role in the Aramco CCS hub.
