Project description
Client: SAMREF (Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery) .
Location: Yanbu, KSA.
Disciplines: surface treatment, welding, cold welding, electrical works, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
Access Method: Rope access for critical elevations and hard-to-reach areas.
From 2022 to 2025, we delivered a series of integrated maintenance and reliability projects at SAMREF, combining mechanical, electrical, and inspection scopes under tight turnaround windows. Using rope access, we minimized scaffolding, reduced interfaces, and kept process units accessible, enabling safe, efficient execution without disrupting operations.
What We Delivered
Surface Treatment: Grit blasting, surface prep, and industrial coating of structural steel, pipelines, and equipment, including salt-contamination control and DFT verification.
Welding Works: CS/SS weld repairs and tie-ins, spool replacements, and defect removal in accordance with approved WPS/PQR and weld maps.
Cold Welding/Composite Repairs: Online leak-sealing and structural restoration using qualified composite systems for pipes, elbows, and clamps—limiting hot work and downtime.
Electrical Works: Cable tray retrofits, cable pulling/termination, lighting upgrades, and panel terminations with functional testing and red-line as-builts.
NDT: UT thickness surveys, MT/PT/VT on pressure parts and structural members, with traceable reports and punch-list closures.
